- Arvada Dog Park. 20+ Acre site 4 Phases - Phase 1 open. Aurora
- Cherry Creek State Park. Off leash dog training are. Open fields w/ trees, bushes and running streams. Parker Road and Orchard. Also accessible through the park entrances. Annual State park passes available at State park entrance. Prices change yearly. The fee for a Colorado State Parks pass is $60.00 plus $3.00 for water. Daily pass is $7/day. This is also a horse riding area, so you must be able to control you dog on command. Directions: Take I-225 to Parker Rd. Exit and turn South on Parker Rd. follow down approx 5 miles and turn right on Orchard Rd. driveway is approx 15 ft. down on the right. - Grandview Off-Leash Dog Park. Fenced, parking, water, trash cans, and it's FREE! Location: 17900 E. Quincy Ave. Directions: Take Quincy Ave East. Cross Buckley Rd, go 4 blocks and take a right. - Chautauqua Park, Boulder. Beautiful hikes; many trails to choose from. Short enough for the older dog, and long enough for the young. Dogs must be leashed for several yards into the park, but are then free to roam. thay must be under voice and sight command, and have a Boulder voice and sight tag -- very easy to get at the ranger station at the main entrance to tha park -- and worth every penny! - Dog Park in Longmont. Fenced area with water fountain and dog play equipment. Additional fenced area designated for smaller dogs. Lots of dogs there after 3:00pm. Location: West off of Airport Road (south of 9th) look for the signs. (Thank you Janet).
- East Boulder Trailhead. Boulder, CO. Approx. 2 mile walking path in fenced open space. Dogs must be under voice command; rangers visit and will fine you if dogs harass prairie dogs near fence;2 small ponds for splashing. Brighton
- Happy Trails Dog Park. Enclosed, off leash canine exercise area. Free to public. Owner/ custodian must be present within fenced enclosure at all times and are responsible for immediately cleaning and disposing of excrement. Open seven days a week sunrise to sunset. Location: 1111 Judicial Center Drive. Directions: From I-76 and Bromley: Head west on Bromley Lane towards Brighton Sports Complex right beside the Judicial Center. Turn left onto Judicial Center Drive, heading south. Follow Judicial Center Drive around to the back. Plenty of parking. From US 85, head East on Bromley Lane toward the Judicial Center. Broomfield
- Broomfield Community Commons Dog Park. The park is about 100ydsx125yds of chain link with a second partian of 75 yards x 100 yards. there is a shelter in case of rain and an auto fill water bowl and 2 benches other than that there are lots of doggies and weeds and dirt. but good owners make the place fun for all. Location: Sheridan near 136th. All Dogs will be required to have tags and proof of vaccinations, and owners must accompany their pets and clean up after them. Location: Off of Simms road north of 104th and south of 120th/highway 128.. Two entrances: one at 13th and Sheridan, and one at 132nd and Lowell. Directions: From I-25, go West on 120th, go North on Lowell until you get to 132, or go North on Sheridan until 13th. From 36, exit 120th East until Lowell or Sheridan. Castle Rock
- Dog Park on Douglas County Fairgrounds. Two separate dog areas, one is usually closed (the grass is trying to take hold). No water, no trees, one bench. Very safe gate systems. Well-fenced. Can get muddy. Location: Take Plum Creek Drive East from I-25. About 2 miles, at the southeast end of the fairgrounds just off Plum Creek Drive. Across from softball and football fields. - Dog Park North of Castle Rock. There are no benches in here or water but the space is enormous and it's rarely busy. North of Castle Rock, between Castle Rock and Lonetree. Location: Surrey Ridge and I-25. Directions: Take I-25 North from Castle Rock and exit Surrey Ridge turn right (you have to) and then your immediate Left into the park. (Thank you Richae Matula)

- Conifer Bark Park. At least 2 acres wooded, fenced; area for small dogs; benches water. Location: Take first exit after safeway off 285; go under highway and take road towards old Y camp; take right and follow signs for dog park. (Thank you Marjorie Berkowitz)

- Denver Off-Leash dog park. This park is Denver's first off leash dog park. It is open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. The park is located directly behind the Denver Animal Control building. Location: 666 S. Jason. Directions: Take Alameda to S. - Earthdog Denver - off-leash park and the biggest swimming pool in Denver. We are a doggy day care with off-leash dog park that open for public for $5 fee. Large swimming pool, mountains and tunnels will make your dog happy. Location: 370 Kalamath St. (Thank you Irina)
- Green Valley Ranch East Park. It is an off leash area, but it is not fenced in. The park has posts on all four corners of the park, and a sign stating "please keep dogs within boundaries". The park is filled with thorns and cacti, therefore not very conditions for a dog to run and have fun. Location: Jebel and East 45th (Thank you Keith Parks & Jeri Jones)
- West High School. Baseball field. mostly enclosed, not always open though. Location: 11th and Speer. . This is not a "dog park" however, many Paryway owners take their dogs there to let them play around and get socialized. There is a gate that does not completely enclosed the field, if you dog is a good listener, please come join us. I am usually there between 5pm-9pm. Sometimes they lock the gate! Directions: From I-25 to Speer, take Speer all the way to 11th (about 2-3 miles), make a right on 11th, and a left on Galapago. Douglas County
- Bark Park. Small fenced in area with picnic tables and poop baggies. Bring your own water. Location: about one block East of Colorado & County Line Rd intersection, on County Line Rd. Directions: I- 25 South to County Line Rd. West on County Line Rd. Between Holly and Colorado Blvd. Directions: I-70 to Quebec, go south on Quebec to Montview, turn left (east), continue to Syracuse, (next light) turn left (North). Englewood
- Centennial Park. Designated off-leash area. Location: Between Santa Fe and Federal on Union St. Englewood Dog Parks. (Thank you Greg Kainer, President)
- Cherry Creek State Park. Off-Leash Hiking Area. There is a parking fee because it is a state park; I recommend the annual pass as it will pay for itself several times over if you take your dog there frequently. There is a creek that runs (in season) through the park. Location: Parker Road & Chambers. Directions: I-225 S. to Parker Road, go East. - Englewood Canine Corral. Off-leash dog park. The one and a half acre park is completely fenced and offers benches and some shade. Bring water for your dog -- none available. Location: 4848 S. Windermere Street (on the west side of Belleview Park). Directions: Santa Fe, east on Belleview, north on Windermere, about 1/2 mile on the right. (Thank you Sharron Candon)
- Jason Park. This is a great little spot for your dog to get out and play with other dogs. It is just a pilot with Englewood City Council and needs your support. Location: 4200 South Jason. Directions: Off of Oxford on Jason (between Santa Fe and Broadway). Directions: Take Broadway South to Oxford, head about 1/2 mile down the hill toward Santa Fe and make a left on Jason. Evergreen
- Bark Park. In the mountains of Evergreen. Has a creek running through park. Open field next to site with water fountain running fresh water down field and through the park. Fenced in off leash area. Directions: I70 West to Evergreen Parkway. Follow Evergreen Parkway to Stagecoach. - Redstone Park Dog Park. Park tends to be dry and dusty. I suggest owners bring water for their dogs. A great place for greyhounds! Lafayette
- Lafayette Dog Park. Dual Off Leash Dog Park. Two large open areas for dogs to run. One smaller areas for timid or smaller dogs to romp and play. A larger area for all other dogs with a walking path near the perimeter of the park. Location: Highway 7 and 119th. Just North of the HWY 7 and East of 119th. Directions: Highway 7 and 119th. Just North of the HWY 7 and East of 119th. Traveling East of Highway 7 go through the town of Lafayette. Once outside of the downtown Lafeyette look for 119th. Turn left onto 119th going North. The park will be on the left side just about .2 miles from HWY 7. Traveling West on highway 7, turn Right onto 119th going North. The park will be on the left side just about .2 miles from HWY 7. - Forberg Inor Spring Park. Two fenced areas with sally port entrance. This park has recently reopened. one area has sod while the other is dirt at this time. both areas have picnic tables and there is a dog water just out side the fenced areas. Bring your own poop bag as I didn't see any there. Location: 14800 West Alameda Pkwy. Directions: Alameda to the intersection of Jewell Ave make a right turn this is still alameda. Littleton
- Bark Park. Description: small off-leash dog park with dog water fountain & built-in bowl. Location: E. County Line Road, between Holly and Colorado. Directions: Park is located on the south side of County Line Road between Holly and Colorado Blvd. From I-25 go west on C470, stay in right lane & take first exit (Quebec), take right (north) one block to County Line, turn west (left); go past Holly St., get in left-hand lane, take (2nd I'm pretty sure) left into dog park (south side of County Line). From Santa Fe, go east on C470, exit at University, take left (north)up to County Line, take right (east) past Colorado to dog park 1/4 mile (guestimate) on right. - Chatfield Reservoir. Enormous off leash park with two small dog lakes and several fields and back trails through wooded areas with streams. An incredible place to visit. Please clean up after your dog. Don't give anyone reason to complain. We don't need this park closed! Thank You. Location: C470 & Wadsworth. Directions: Update, the regular free parking is no longer available, the back entrance was closed because all the cars parking were causing problems. You can park and get in free from another Chatfield entrance off of C-470. You MUST be traveling West on 470, there is no East exit. The exit is a small turnoff just West of Santa Fe, there is a tunnel under the highway and a bridge. Be sure to KEEP YOUR DOG ON THE LEASH until you get to the park, this is a VERY popular HIGH SPEED bike trail. But it leads to the back of the park. (Thank you Monica Carlisle & Jenny Kerrigan)
- Chatfield Dog Park. Acres and Acres and Acres! Ponds, river, walkways and paths everywhere. Never seen a dog park like this one! Baggies available, restrooms, etc. In Chatfield State Park. Location: Intersection of S. Wadsworth and C-470 within the State Park. Requires day pass or permit. Directions: C-470 to Wadsworth exit, South approx. 1 mi to entrance to State Park. - Dog Park. Fenced area, maybe a small city block. No shade or water. A few picnic tables to sit at. Double gate. Location: Near C470 and Lucent Blvd. Directions: E on C470 to Lucent. So. on Lucent to Town Hall (?). West on Town Hall Road for about 1-2 miles(?) Park is visible on the south side of Town Hall Road. - Highland Heritage Dog Park. Description: 7 acres, fully fenced, double gate, water available June-Sept. Bring water, the water tap doesn't always work. No shade, so bring a hat and sunscreen. Location: Southwest corner of University Blvd and Quebec St. Directions: From I-25 south of Denver: exit Lincoln, go west to Quebec St, turn south, and enter the park on the right side of Quebec St. From C-470, exit Quebec, and go south to University. The park is on the southwest corner of the intersection. Enter the park on the east side from Quebec St. Once inside the park, the dog park is at the south end of the park.
- Wynettka Ponds. Two separate spaces, partitioned by a wire fence. Allows you to stay at the park even if your doggy is not playing well with others. Gets really muddy after rain or melting snow, so bring a towel to wipe the paws before you get in the car. The park has doggy bags for waste, and plenty of waste baskets for more waste. Dual gates allow for a proper introduction of pups before play. Enjoy several few picnic tables to relax while your dog goes for broke, located in the dog park. No water avail. No shade. Borders a busy street. Fences are about 4-5ft. tall by my estimation - careful frisbee dogs. Location: Lowell (3600 W) at Bowles. Directions: Santa Fe to Bowles. Bowles west Lowell. Right on Lowell. Left into the parking lot. Follow the lower dirt path to the entrance of the dog park. (Thank you J. Lovett)
Northglen/Thornton
- Happy Tails Dog Park (Thornton Dog Park). Irma Drive and 106th avenue. Directions: Go East of I-25 on 104th Avenue approximately 1 mile to Irma Drive. Go left (north) 2 blocks. On east side of street, adjacent to the baseball field. (Thank you Doug Kenney, Katie Noyce & Cindy Kelso)
Parker

Superior
- Marshall Mesa Trailhead. It has a great trail and there is a stream that runs along side for you dog to take a few refreshing dips. Location: Marshall Road just South of Boulder off of Highway 93. Directions: Take Highway 93 North to Highway 170. Go Right. You will see a sign that directs you towards Marshall Road. You will get to a 3 way intersection. Continue Right. The trailhead is not far. Stapleton
- Stapleton Off Leash Dog Park. It’s mainly sandy, instead of rocks and hard dirt and weeds. It has a path that you can walk around and a small hill dogs can run around on. There are benches for owners to sit and talk to others with. Bring your own water though! Poop bags are supplied and lots of extra plastic bags are brought all the time. Thornton
- Thornton Dog Park. Off Leash. Location: 104th & Irma. Directions: Take I-25 to 104th, head east to Irma. Turn north. Park located aprox. 2 block north of 104th on east side of street. (Thank you Jennifer Bocanegra)
Westminster
- Westminster Open Space Off leash Dog Park. Excellent Place for Dogs to run, play and socialize. Cows and prairie dogs run free and are used to visitors. Occasional rattlesnake sighting so be aware. THE MORE THE MERRIER!! Poop Bags are handy at the entrance. A large off leash dog park, you can find up to 50 dogs there on the weekends. Location: Between 103rd and 108th on the west side of Simms Street. In Westminster Colorado 80021 Just north of Stanly Lake on Simms. Directions: From Wadsworth go West on Church Ranch Boulevard (will turn into 100th Avenue). You can also reach it by going west on 100th from Wadsworth until you hit Simms that forces you to go north. Go north about 1/4 mile and it will be on the west side. - Colorado Hills Open Space. All trails open to off leash use with rules. Location: 105th and Simms. Directions: From Wadsworth, go west on 100th (Church Ranch Blvd) north on Simms at the dead end. Parking lot is on the left where all the cars slow down. (Thank you Marlene Hewitt)
